Sushi Rolls (Maki Sushi-Hosomaki) Recipe

Ingredients:
Temaki
- ½ cup Kokuho sushi rice (cooked and seasoned)
- 1 sheet nori (seaweed)
Fillings:
- Sashimi-grade fish of your choice
- Persian/Japanese cucumber
- Shiso leaves
- Radish sprouts
- Avocado
- Toasted sesame seeds
- Carrot
Sides:
- Leng Heng Pickled Ginger
- Sakura Wasabi Powder
- Kikkoman soy sauce
Instructions:
- Make sushi rice. Take a fish cut into strips.
- Cut nori in half horizontally.
- Cut shiso leaf, cucumber, raw fish, avocado and radish sprout into thin strips.
- Keep your hands dry and place seaweed on the palm of your hand. Add rice to left side of the nori.
- Add fillings diagonally across middle of the rice. Put fish on top of the fillings.
- Take bottom left corner of nori and start folding into cone shape.
- Take right side of nori and fold it over the left side, Keep rolling until cone is formed. Use a piece of rice as glue to seal open fold.
- Serve with Leng Heng Pickled Ginger, Sakura Wasabi Powder and Kikkoman soy sauce.
