Thai Curry with Crab Recipe

Yakitori (Grilled Chicken Skewers)

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) crab meat, cooked and cleaned
  • Sugar 1 Tbsp
  • Coconut milk 4 Tbsp
  • Fish sauce 2 Tbsp
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Chopped potato
  • 1 Chopped carrot
  • Waugh’s Curry Powder 1 Tbsp
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated

Instructions:

  1. In a large pan, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, potato and carrot. Cook until softened.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan. Stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Sprinkle Waugh’s curry powder over the mixture. Stir well to coat the ingredients with the curry powder.
  4. Pour in the coconut milk and chicken or vegetable broth. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Add the fish sauce and sugar to the pan, stirring to incorporate the flavors.
  6. Add steamed crab and meat and cook well
  7. Once the crab is heated through and the vegetables are tender, remove the pan from the heat.
  8. Put coriander on top and serve.
